I've enjoyed countless takeaways from Bunmee's over the years, and I can't recommend their delicious food enough! Even after eating half my meal when this photo was taken, there were still generous portions of pork remaining, not just a few pieces sprinkled on top. If you're after genuine, honest food, give these guys a try!

Consistently Delicious – Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover! After reading some negative reviews, especially about the atmosphere, I almost skipped Bunmee’s Thai Food Takeaway—but I’m so glad I didn’t! Over several visits on different days, I tried a variety of meals, and every single one was absolutely fantastic. The food is fresh, flavorful, and a great representation of authentic Thai cuisine. Yes, it’s a simple takeaway venue, but that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. I don’t eat the atmosphere—I eat the food—and the quality, portions, and value for money here more than make up for any lack of frills. Having travelled extensively, including to several Asian countries, I can confidently say Bunmee’s serves some of the best Thai food and also not so Thai, I’ve had in a long time. Don’t let the negative comments about the setting or anything else deter you. If you’re in Wongaling Beach, give Bunmee’s a try—you’ll be as impressed as I was!

We were over visiting from Canada, we have previously had Bun mee & Steve's amazingly delicious Thai food. The flavors in every dish are simply to die for. If you have a chance to visit their takeaway shop in Mission Beach, Australia you won't be disappointed.

Great affordable Thai food a great size portions. One serve would easily feed two. Not a place I would choose to sit in and eat but for take away awesome 👏

We had lunch there today. The food was sensational.

Thai restaurant, takeaway only. We ordered Duck Spring Rolls, Prawn & Ginger veg stir-fry and steamed rice - all were excellent and very enjoyable. Good sized servings, lots of vegetables in the stir-fry, and the prawns (8 in the stir-fry) were delicious.

Always the best food and the best service. I have loved every dish and have tried a lot of them. The spring rolls are the best I’ve had from anywhere. Best Thai food this side of Thailand 🇹🇭

Best thai in Mission Beach! We order as often as we can and it is perfect every time. Our faves are duck spring rolls, pad see ew and thai fried rice but we have tried the curry as well. Owner and chef are always so friendly and we love supporting their business. Please never leave ❤️❤️❤️
