Loved it. We’ve been traveling up the East coast for a week and this is easily the best food we have had. Friendly service, good beer and wine list. Good vegetarian options. Tagliatelle was excellent. It was dark when we ate so god knows how much better it would be in the sun. Thanks!

Poor customer service we had to wait several minutes to be sighted after numerous waitresses ignored us . Good but pricy seafood but pasta a bit bland and not a good match for the seafood as no lemon notes. No protection from sea breezes made it an uncomfortable sitting. Charged 15 % surcharge for a Sunday which was excessive given the poor customer service

Excellent, the food was top notch as well as the service. Great location on the beach and terrific live music, highly recommend you give it a try if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Popped in on a rainy Sunday for a coffee, out of the rain with our dog, stayed for hours. Fabulous spot next to awesome beach, great menu, winelist and music - very relaxing and great service from friendly staff. Great dog friendly spot with great views away from the construction work.

We (group of 4) had the pleasure of having lunch here on Friday. The service, food and cocktails were all fabulous!
Yes there is some construction work going on around them but this did not take away from a very enjoyable experience!

It is a bit of an effort to get through the road construction to find it, but worth the journey. Great atmosphere and location. I had garlic prawns and they were fabulous. Terrific lunch on a relaxing Sunday with the live music.

Finally, a place worth dining at in FNQ.
The menu is extensive and creative - more importantly, the flavours are absolutely incredible. I've been in the hospitality industry for 20+ years, some of that in fine dining. The meals at Charlie's were as good in flavour, freshness and quality of ingredient as any I've ever had in my career. It's a place you want to slow down and savour every mouthful.
The service was perfect - helpful, great recommendations and very unobtrusive.
It's been a long time since I've experienced anywhere near the quality offered at Charlie's.
