I really couldn’t understand why this place only had 3.9 stars until we got the bill. A plate of olives, a salad main, a beef main and 1 cocktail $125 later… Surcharge upon surcharge at this place. The atmosphere is great. Food wise - salad was amazing, brisket was great serving, tender however was quite dry. Seems backwards to have ‘weekend surcharges’ this should be built into costings. I would not recommend because the price does not align.

We came across Charlie’s whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch. After being welcomed by a lovely waitress, we checked the menu and decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did! The food was delicious and the brisket…..beautiful and tender. Even the sparkling iced tea was a surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere overlooking gorgeous Mission Beach….with an added bonus of watching some skydivers at the same time. We ended up visiting again it was so good. Well done team!

Wow! Brisket!! The Brisket is AMAZING - see smoker in picture. Really great vibes and relaxed space watching the ocean while sipping coffee or a cocktail. Great coffee. Large menu selection and, if you like brisket, I highly recommend it. Oh the roast potatoes that come with are proper crispy outside and soft inside! Thank you Charlie and team for this some place.

I live in the lower North Shore of Sydney with hundreds of great restraunts close by and I'm very pleased to say that Charlie's food is one of the best I've experienced. A diverse menu - all five of us rated our meals five star. We'll done to Charlie and his Chef.

Ordered 2 coffee and sour dough toast over charged $25 Presented with a small piece of rye toast and one larger plus pale margarine on side 😦 Very over priced for &12 We took this as a message not to come back if you don’t order a meal Coffee was just ok a bit weak Music was loud too Would not recommend this place

Great relaxed atmosphere. Came here for breakfast and was amazing so came back again for dinner the same day and was equally as good. Brisket was tender and the mackerel was delicious as well. Thank you for a great day of dining.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Upon entering this cute cafe you’re greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere to match the amazing views of mission beach. The food is fantastic both to the eye and to the palate, with my Eggs Benny served with REAL hollandaise sauce, I wish I could bath its deliciousness. My caramel latte was also noteworthy, the perfect temperature to match the delicious coffee and caramel taste. Highly recommend visiting when in mission beach. Thank you 🙂

Delicious food and Gelato. Whether you’re looking for lunch or dinner these guys deliver on taste. We had the brisket which is hard to beat as they smoke the meat on site. The Moreton Bay Bugs were delicious and if I wasn’t already full i would have ordered again. The salt and pepper squid is another goodie and you really can’t go wrong with their seafood and bbq meats. Right by the beach with good shelter from the sun. Plus their cocktail menu is pretty great.

You know your in trouble when waitress says kitchen is busy should be a 20 minute wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 90 minutes later two burgers finally arrive , and the place was not full , you have to be kidding me , I could see other diners checking there watches and thinking the same , its lunch time not a full service dinner time, give this a miss if you want a quick lunch
