I had the coral trout and it is absolutely beautiful. Fish cakes are great as well as the potato scallops. Will definitely be back.

Visiting from Toronto in Canada, this is one of the greatest fish and chips places we have been to! The coral trout, when in season, is excellent! Busy, but service with a smile!

We’re from Florianópolis, Brazil – an island with 42 beaches, so we know seafood 😂. This place is the only one we’ve found that really nails it – fresh and full of flavour.

We’ve been in Australia for 7 years and never had seafood this good. We drove from Cairns just to eat here, and it was totally worth it.

Got there late but the lovely people leet us order. Actually they allowed two more groups order after us as well because they are obviously people pleasers! Served with a smile and a humble attitude that suggested they were not as confident in the product as they should be. This team of hard working and genuine, passionate people are pumping out food that is next level.
We ordered the reef fish (crumbed Nanygai), chips and a crumbed chicken burger and OMIGOSH- best chicken burger ever but not even close to how bloody good the fish was! And the chips were amazing.
There was an extra chicken fillet in the burger, the fish was big, crispy and juicy inside, we ordered small chips and I’m sure they gave us large!

We have visited the area for the last week and have bought food from here a couple of times.

There’s been a 30 minute wait each time so you need to have some time up your sleeve.

There’s food is generally pretty good, although some grilled fish was overcooked.

The food we bought this evening was missing a couple of items which was really frustrating. We tried calling when we got home but no one picked up the phone.

Battered fish was delicious and the chips with chicken salt are great.
