Best potato cakes I've had in ages. Originally, I wanted to order coral trout. Ended up ordering 2 battered barramundi chips and salad. Spoke with the owner regarding fish they use. He was waiting for fresh delivery the next day. Wasn't served barramundi 🤨 barramundi has distinctive flesh and taste. No, we didn't bring it to the attention of the owner. Assumed they must have mixed up our order.. All was cooked very well with the perfect texture of batter.

Great food with a breathtakingly long wait. We ordered burger and chips, were quoted a 45 minute wait which we spent in the bar across the road. Then waited another 15 minutes. Luckily the burger, potato fritter and chips were first rate.

Great chippies, nice and crunchy! Lovely service for the people frying and taking the orders, they were lovely and helpful. Only down side was the potato cake was a Lil on the greasy side, but still tasty.

We had 2 x Mackrell & Chips it was delicious. Shout out to the staff, extremely busy and short of staff they managed it well! It's a shame other customers were not as considerate and patient. We hope you enjoyed the beers we gave you at the end of a hard shift, well deserved 🍻 would definitely be back & recommend.
