The Garage Bar and Brewhouse

Needs better toilets, using the public ones outside when there is no urinal for the men is just stupid and annoying and is what turned a 5 star place into a 4 star place.

Delicious food, nice range of specials, and wood fired pizzas looked incredible (didn’t get one but was certainly tempted). Service was efficient and nice bar staff too.

I’m seriously disappointed of this place. Went to grab a beer and pizza, but I was too late for the food. That’s alright, I was expecting it to be! Vibe was nice with some live music, everything I like in those local breweries. However, I don’t understand how cold the bartender acted with me : 1. First beer, I almost don’t have the time to choose and the bartender made no effort to try to understand what I wanted 2. Couldn’t have a second beer as it was to late according to this same bartender (although it was apparently not for other customers) I truly don’t understand what I did to this bartender to be treated like that. It ruined my experience

Good Food we had the Garmisch & Cheese Bread und Theo really nice Cocktails 🍸 and the live Music was also nice to the ambiente.

The most delicious pizza ever and great beer!

We came.on a busy friday evening. All tables where full and there was a small queue for ordering food and drinks. Not a problem but we had to order without kwowing if a seat would come available...but there is always a last minute option for take away. We found a table, mingled with some other guests and enjoyed our pizzas and craft beer very much!

Got beef skewers and fries. Skewers were mediocre at best and fries was not good. For $9 you’ll get (still talking fries) terribly smelly fries. Not sure what I expected but it was so so.

Really enjoyed this place, had a pizza and a few pale ales, all really tasty and the pizza was pretty spicy. The atmosphere was really nice and chilled, service good too.

Best pizza we’ve had on our travels through Queensland. Great beer too. Friendly staff, great spot to spend an evening.

amazing local beer, heaps of options, great cocktail menu, pizzas are absolutely to die for. mostly outdoor atmosphere, but heaps of space undercover. parking isnt a drama, place is a stones throw from the beach. absolutely must stop. the garlic and three cheese pizza bread had UNREAL garlic confit on it. worth a stop! Vegetarian options: The pizza has an option for vegan cheese. Parking: on street parking Kid-friendliness: very family friendly, plenty of kids running about Wheelchair accessibility: completely flat concrete entrance, ramp up to the bar. unsure of toilet options.
