The Garage Bar & Brewhouse was an absolute vibe — exactly what we were looking for on our weekend getaway! The spicy margaritas were chef’s kiss and my husband was in beer-lover heaven with their full range of in-house brews (pretty sure he worked his way through the whole list).
The outdoor seating is dog-friendly, which ticked all the boxes for us — nothing better than relaxing with a drink, good food, and our pup by our side. Even with all the construction happening in Mission Beach at the moment, the team has done an amazing job keeping the atmosphere fun, relaxed, and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

Have been to Mission beach many times over the years. First time I have made it to the Garage Bar and brehouse. Was fantastic. Ended up going there twice during the stay in Mission. Great selection of Double Batch beers on tap, Cans of beers / cartons can also be bought from the pub as well.. Pizzas are great out of the wood fired oven, very tasty and very moorish. Live music on the weekend was of very good quality and suited the laid back atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Loud and proud. That’s simply how I’d describe this little place. Full of character and night time atmosphere. Staff were super efficient and friendly.
We ate wood fired pizza and drank cold beer. What could be a better combination when on holiday in Far North Queensland.

The mushroom pizza was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and clearly made with quality ingredients. The edges were slightly charred, but it added to the authentic wood-fired taste.

Lovely place to eat. Service was good and staff was friendly. The daily special (pork tacos) was out of this world! Wonderful combination of flavors and pork belly that was crispy yet tender, with deep flavors. What’s not to like!
