We had an amazing rafting experience today with Coach John and Leon. They were both extremely friendly, funny, and provided us with detailed instructions on how to get back on the boat and navigate the rapids. The crew at Wildside Adventures were really friendly, and easy to communicate with. We were picked up from our accommodation in the morning and headed to the rafting site. Our rafting guides were amazing, giving clear instructions on how to tackle each obstacle, providing great stories and laughs along the way. The rapids were thrilling! It’s such a great challenge. A few of us fell in, but the training we received meant we were able to get back into our raft in choppy waters with no problem. The scenery was spectacular. I’d highly recommend giving this trip a go!

Awesome experience in that beautiful river. Some of the rapids were challenging for us, and the staff was kind, encouraging, and helpful. Note the website says kids above 12, but it is actually above 6. The brief at the beginning could be a bit shorter to help focus on the most important things (maybe a piece of it directly in the water if you can).

Really fun activity. The crew gave everyone their own kayaks so we wouldn’t drag all day on the rocks given the lower flow, so nice to see they were thinking of us. Ran rapids independently, was sweet. Kayaks good, staff nice (Rhett and John, John’s a classic Aussie character). Free beer at the end! Thanks Wild Side

The best tour!!! Did the half day rafting with John, Rhett and Ash. Water was a bit low towards the end of dry season but the whole morning was still a blast! Enjoyed a leisurely paddle in-between the thrill of the rapids. The staff were super knowledgeable of the river and made you feel safe the entire time. Makes you feel like you are out with friends enjoying the beautiful Tully and not some commercialized trip. Will recommend!!!

So... I was only doing this because my Husband Russ really wanted too. I was absolutely petrified to be honest. There was definitely no need to be in the end. I had the best time. Loved it and felt very safe.. Our very experienced guides John, Ret and team were so informative and gave us a few laughs along the way. They keeped checking to see if we were ok. Unfortunately we have no pics, we need to move with the times and get a go pro 🤣. All in all l can't wait to do this again, hopefully next year when we're back up this way.
